Farewell Brunch at Pittormie Castle

Perched on Scotland’s rugged east coast, St Andrews is a place where history, beauty, and atmosphere collide in the most unforgettable way. Wander along its windswept beaches, explore the hauntingly beautiful ruins of its ancient cathedral, and soak in the charm of cobbled streets lined with cosy cafés. St Andrews is also home to world famous golf courses and is stepped in golfing heritage.

Pittormie Castle is 7 miles outside of the beautiful town St Andrews where you will find a number of accommodation options. Transport too and from each event will be provided from the recommended hotels below.

Travel

Traveling from Boston to St Andrews, Scotland

Commercial Flights

- Fly from Boston Logan International Airport to either Edinburgh Airport (EDI) or Glasgow Airport (GLA).
- Direct flights to Edinburgh are the most convenient (approx. 6–7 hours).
- From Edinburgh: St Andrews is about a 1 hour 15 minute drive. Taxis and private transfers are readily available, or you can take a train to Leuchars (10 minutes from St Andrews) followed by a short taxi ride.
- From Glasgow: allow approximately 1 hour 45 minutes by car.


Private Jet Options

- Private jets can fly directly from Boston to Edinburgh Airport, which has full VIP handling facilities.
- Alternatively, smaller aircraft can use Dundee Airport (just 20 minutes from St Andrews), offering the closest arrival point.


Final Leg to St Andrews

- Private car transfers can be arranged from all airports.
- Taxis are available from the airport
- Rental cars can also be arranged from the airport
- Helicopter transfers are also available from Edinburgh or Glasgow for a faster, scenic arrival (approx. 30 minutes).

What Parking Faciliites are there?

Ample on-site parking is provided for all guests.


What if it rains?

We have full wet weather contingencies in place for our celebrations in the event of rain.


Can I bring a plus one?

Due to venue limitations we can only welcome guests named on the formal addressed invitation.


Can I bring my children?

Children are welcome to attend, please enquire with our planning team for babysitter recommendations.


Will there be vegetarian/ vegan options provided?

All dietary requirements that we have been made aware of have been accommodated for. Please ensure you indicate your dietary requirements within your RSVP form.
